SkyWatch Friday

Similkameen Skies

This afternoon we lost our telephone service to a lightening strike for the second time in a month.

Here are the noisy, grumbling clouds that accompanied the spectacular lightening!!

There were a number of strikes in the hills that caused small fires, but luckily
the rain came down in great cascading sheets
and all seems well now,
except we have no landline!

  2. Oh, those are grumpy skies indeed, Hildred, but what great captures for the day! Sorry about the loss of telephone service! That's always an inconvenience. At least the rains help to prevent forest fires and we've certainly seen terrible ones here in the states! Hope you have a peaceful, beautiful weekend!
