Skywatch Friday
November 11th, 2011

Remembrance Day,  - a sombre sky.

As the flag descends over the cenotaph and the Last Post sounds.

For skies of the world visit here at Skywatch Friday.

  1. Dreary skies in remembrance of those who gave their lives that we might live. I love to see the Canadian flag, against any sky at all.
    Thanks, Hildred.

  2. It's so appropriate that the skies are so grey for this commemoration. Downunder in OZ it's sad to see the number of small towns that had much of their young male population wiped out - I hope the day is also a reminder that this must never happen again.

  3. Hello.
Great images you display on your blog.
I have to add me as follows.
    Wishing you a good weekend.
