Similkameen Skies
Monday's Sunset - I love the bit of Lemon Souffle
Tuesday's Sunrise, - restrained
A wild day of blue skies, snow showers and captivating clouds
It was Christmas time over the Pass
and around Skaha Lake
We came home from Penticton to find K Mountain swathed in a billowing blanket
a precursor to yet another mad snow storm!!
Somewhere the sun is shining, somewhere the skies are blue, - hie yourself over to Skywatch Friday
and see if you can bask under those summery skies.
Wonderful series of skies!Fantastic shots!Have a great weekend!

A lovely scene.
ReplyDeleteThese are all fantastic skies and beautiful mountains too. Wonderful sequence.
ReplyDeleteOh, what a great series of photos, Hildred. Skaha Lake was one of my favourite places to swim when I was growing up in Kelowna. We didn't get to go there very often, because people didn't drive around as much then, so it always remains in my mind as an extra special spot. Thanks for including it today!

These are wonderfully dramatic skies. What a beautiful area you live in!
ReplyDeleteGreat scenery and the lemon souffle looks good!
ReplyDeleteDo like a bit of lemon souffle in sweet photos like that, all that snow must make it hard for driving but fabulous for photo opportunities. Thanks for your kind comments on my post earlier.
ReplyDeleteLovely winter landscapes and skies.
