Skywatch Friday
March 2nd, 2012

A series of cloudy skies as we cross the pass to Penticton

turned in upon each other

and piled, one atop each other,  like soft blankets

or underwater sea creatures.

This morning we woke to a frosting on the trees
to celebrate February's departure up and over the distant hills.

Will March come in like a lion????

Similkameen Skies

A pretty sunrise, but otherwise skies in the Similkameen

have been wispy, foggy and downright dreary.

A crow's nest hidden in the top of the neighbour's biggest tree

Tell me, do you see any precipitous pussy willows here?

Skywatch Friday
January 20th, 2012

Snow skies here in the Similkameen, - a pewter grey, same shade over all.  No shadows or shafts of light, just grey, grey, grey.

So here are some summery sky to lift the spirits.....

Despite the lack of beautiful skies we are enjoying the snowy weather.
